About us

Hannah Gould has worked in Music PR for over 12 years. Beginning at Beggars Group, where she was Senior PR, working across all labels (including XL, 4ad, Too Pure, Matador, Beggars Banquet) building new bands from the beginnings such as Dizzy Rascal, Adele, Biffy Clyro and Beirut through to working established acts such as TV On The Radio, The Breeders and Tindersticks. This was followed by a stint at Columbia as Acting Head of Press working with - among others - Kings of Leon, Slayer and Calvin Harris and then at Atlantic as Senior PR handling the urban roster including Janelle Monae and co-ordinating press for established rock acts such as Rival Schools. In 2009 Hannah Gould set up her own Independent PR company specialising in the best new and established alternative music around (new-wave/post-punk/indie/alternative/folk). Artists include the ethereal otherworldly soundscapes of Gazelle Twin, the dreamy and haunting psychedelia of Paul Thomas Saunders, the broody beauty of Tindersticks and the new-wave electro pop of My Tiger My Timing (to name only a few).

On top of artist campaigns, Hannah Gould PR has also been involved in the PR+Marketing of live events including Ja Ja Ja, London's biggest monthly Nordic night. Hannah Gould Music PR works bespoke campaigns, including National, Regional + Online press for artists and live events. One very strict rule applies – if they wouldn’t run to the shop to buy the record the day it came out (then play it continuously like an over excited teenager) – they won’t work it. Simple as. Music is about passion, first and foremost.
